Tweaking, Trusting and Talking

I've been slaving away on getting the "look" here just right.

Have a long way to go, but we're getting there - slowly but surely.
Please bear with me as I tweak things around.

In other news, our two precious yellow labs have gone missing.  Beaux and Hoss are father and son and, as usual, the youngin' is a little frisky and wild, while the older is always watching him, trying to show him the way.  It looks like Hoss dug out under the fence and good 'ole dad must have tagged along to keep him in check.  They've been gone for two days now - longer than ever before.   My kids are a wreck, I'm a mess, too.  I don't want to think the worst but for them to be gone this long, they're likely locked up in someone's back yard...being claimed by a new family now...or worse.  And we won't way what "worse" is, okay?

No amount of posting fliers or knocking on doors has warmed their trail for us, either.  Please, if you can, say a prayer that our boys are found or come home soon.  We've had Beaux for 6 years - all of my children have grown up with him.  All of us helped birth Hoss nearly 2 years ago - he was so big his mamma couldn't push him out, hence his name.  We're heartbroken without them and cannot imagine them not being here with us, a part of the family as they've been for so long.

On the lighter side - I've been asked to guest post this week over at Beautiful Wreck!  To say I'm excited would be an understatement.  Kim is a great friend of mine - we knew each other in high school but reconnected last year through Facebook.  I never knew many of the things I've learned about her since we met again and I started following her blog.  She's such an interesting person and her blog is always a fantastic read - please go visit her soon!  I'll be sharing some of my viewpoint on the BP Oil Catastrophe and will be sure to post here when my entry goes live over there.

I'm off to to sit in the sun for a while before the humidity sets in....enjoy your Wednesday!
